Position Overview:

The HR Manager - Employee Relations will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring employee satisfaction, and resolving workplace issues. This position requires a proactive, empathetic, and solutions-oriented professional who can effectively manage employee relations within our fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
    • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
    • Mediate conflicts and facilitate discussions to resolve workplace disputes amicably.
  • Policy Development and Compliance:

    • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
    • Educate employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Performance Management:

    • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers on addressing performance issues and conducting disciplinary actions.
  • Employee Development and Training:

    • Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct training sessions on topics such as conflict resolution, communication skills, and company policies.
  • Employee Engagement:

    • Develop and implement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive company culture.
    • Organize employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:

    • Track and analyze HR metrics related to employee relations, turnover, and engagement.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience in the sales or precious metals industry is required
