Shift:  Monday – Thursday 6:00AM - 4:30PM
Pay rate: $41 / hr.
Location:  Boise, ID

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
 
  • Service, maintain, troubleshoot, modify, and repair facilities' electrical system equipment and components for the entire site which would include but not limited to, 4160V chillers, MCC panel’s, VFD’s, motors from 1/4hp to 300hp, Medium voltage (13kva) switch gear, medal clad breaker, UPS’s, batteries
  • Make recommendations related to preventative maintenance and other non-routine issues
  • Partner with stakeholders to resolve equipment/process issues and maximize system stability. Attends and participates in meetings and provides input
  • Ensure the pass down is accurate and reflects the current work status
  • Monitors analyzes, and addresses issues for area processes each shift
  • Support and monitor area processes and address/escalate issues. Support area cost-reduction activities
  • Provide effective and timely support to resolve equipment issues
  • Assist with installation, modification, and removal of facilities equipment
  • Complete all assigned PMs and work orders in a timely and thorough manner
  • Help coordinate electrical work with outside vendors, internal teams and fab
  • Support the writing of procedures and JHAs
  • Monitor internal projects to ensure timely and accurate completion
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of electrical experience
  • Valid journeymen electrician license
  • Intermediate PC skills, including a familiarity with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision
  • Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments
  • Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong partnering and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrates ability to learn and self-improve continuously
  • Demonstrates ability to handle basic arithmetic calculations
Physical Effort/Activities:
  • The employee must have strong manual dexterity as he/she is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance you may be required to work at elevated heights (i.e., on ladders, stools, or other assistive devices).
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus with strong hand-to-eye coordination.
  • Able to work in constrictive attire, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment as required, and sit or stand for prolonged periods
