What You'll Do:

As an LVN/LPN, you'll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Taking vital signs (temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, etc.)
  • Inserting saline/heparin locks and urinary catheters
  • Assisting with pelvic exams and wound care
  • Performing EKGs, venipuncture, and administering medications
  • Applying splints, sterile dressings, and reading TB skin tests
  • Initiating lab tests and swabbing for cultures
  • Maintaining flexibility for cross-training and stepping outside your normal duties when needed
