On Target’s Assistant Construction Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of all assigned construction projects, including but not limited to, customer service and communication, vendor selection and buyout, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting and financial reporting, proactive safety compliance, and quality control. The Assistant Project Manager is also responsible for working closely with project stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


FIELD MANAGEMENT

●  Work directly with your assigned Project Manager to complete all assigned tasks.

●  Report Directly to your assigned Project Manager daily on all pertinent project information.

●  Build rapport with project stakeholders and instill confidence in your abilities and On Target.

●  Perform all contracted scopes per On Target’s SOP’s and Best Practices.

●  Ensure all work is properly contracted/subcontracted.

●  Assist in coordinating internal resources and vendors for precise execution of projects.

●  Assist in obtaining building permits as required and follow all government guidelines for each permit and project.

●  Adhere to all OSHA and Environment regulations.

●  Assist Project Coordinator with Estimates, Change Orders, Billing & Customer Selections.

●  Assist in Scheduling, Managing and Overseeing all site personnel and subcontractors. Drive safety, quality, and productivity in the field.

●  Assist in the submittal process, quality control, safety compliance, scheduling, and closeout successfully.

●  Ensure the highest level of customer communication and customer service.

●  Ensure an exceptional customer experience.

●  Assist in ensuring project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry and On Target

standards.

●  Work with subcontractors and team members to build a strong and meaningful work relationship.

●  Assist in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

●  Attend at least 1 OnTarget community event per year.

●  Work closely with your assigned Project Manager to set and accomplish clear and common goals on every

project.

●  Work directly with your Project Manager and Division Manager to set clear expectations for your growth in the

position and the department.

●  All other duties or projects as assigned.


OFFICE MANAGEMENT

●  Assist in ensuring all subcontractors are Insured and working under a proper subcontractor agreement, per On Target SOP’s and Best Practices.

●  Approve or reject invoices as appropriate, through proper communication with your Project Manager, subcontractors and vendors.

●  Assist in properly projecting, recording, and maintaining all project costs through proper use of OnTarget approved systems ensuring all projects are delivered within budget.

●  Assist in developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation within budget, scope, timeframe and technical feasibility.

●  Assist in developing and executing a detailed plan to track project progress and success.

●  Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

●  Assist in meeting or improving upon revenue and profit margin goals as defined by On Target

●  Assist in creating, updating, and presenting project schedules to the customer, Project Coordinator, and Division

Manager weekly or as needed.

●  Work closely with your assigned Project Manager to learn and execute all office tasks necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS

●  2+ years full time construction experience preferred

●  Strong business ethics, integrity, and ability to perform in highly autonomous environments.

●  Strong writing and oral communication skills.

●  Strong computer and technology skills.

●  Ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and local officials.

●  Associates degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.

●  OSHA 10 or 30, CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.

●  Construction of multi-family, hotel, and multi-building facility experience preferred.


COMPENSATION

This position offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits. This position is eligible for company vehicle while working, fuel card, and company apparel.
