Job Summary

Infinity Pipeline, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Estimator and Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for estimating the work of projects, overseeing and coordinating various construction projects from start to finish, and ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Estimation: Prepare and estimate budget costs for construction projects by studying plans and specifications.
  • Bid Development: Develop bids for construction projects, evaluating offers to purchase by site requirements, additions, and costing changes.
  • Cost Resolution: Resolve cost differences by analyzing and collecting information.
  • Project Planning: Provide leadership in the initial planning stage by collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, or other involved parties, developing detailed descriptions of jobs and materials necessary to complete projects.
  • Project Scheduling: Schedule and coordinate projects in logical steps, budgeting the time necessary to meet budget progress and costs.
  • Budget Management: Ensure adherence to the budget, making quick and necessary adjustments when unexpected complications or issues arise.
  • Project Oversight: Plan, coordinate, organize, oversee, and direct activities related to the construction and maintenance of assigned structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Safety Management: Ensure safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite, and that all safety codes are met in construction.
  • Contract Negotiation: Oversee contract negotiations, revisions, and additions, ensuring adherence by all parties.
  • Emergency Response: Manage and lead actions necessary due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the jobsite.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, supervisors, foremen, laborers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
  • Experience: Previous working experience as a construction estimator of at least 5 years, with proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects.
  • Project Management: In-depth knowledge of project management.
  • Data Research: Hands-on experience with complex data research activities.
  • Time Management: Good time-management skills, ability to multi-task.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
  • Decision Making: Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather, including walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
  • Travel: May require travel.
  • Work Environment: Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
  • Availability: Must be on-call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the jobsite(s).
