THE ROLE: Sanitation Supervisor

  • This position will report to the: Shift Supervisor
  • Travel Requirement: None
  • FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt
  • Shift: 3rd Shift
  • Employment Category: Full-Time

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE    

The Sanitation Supervisor will oversee the manual process of the sanitizing of production plants with a focus on food contact surfaces. Supervisor will be responsible for several different production plants and production areas and supervise team leads to ensure completion of areas. Will oversee the chemical application in assigned areas and ensure its removal, maintain a variety of routine records, and audit the records completed by team leads.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR   


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Forklift certification

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have two to three years of related experience/or training
  • Must have a forklift license or be able to obtain one within 30 days
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Must have great communication skills, ability to communicate effectively in English, bilingual preferred
  • Must be punctual, have excellent attendance record, and be able to cooperate with others.
  • Must participate in all training programs
  • Ability to lift between 25-50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Three to six months experience in a production facility
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

HOURS & WORKDAYS: 

3rd Shift (9:30PM- 7:30AM); Overtime and holidays may be mandatory based on business needs.
