ERP Suites is actively searching for an accomplished Senior JD Edwards Financials and Job Cost Consultant. The sought-after candidate will have profound expertise in implementing JD Edwards financials and, importantly, in-depth knowledge of job cost modules. This role is pivotal in sculpting financial strategies, steering implementations, and providing guidance for optimizing financials and job cost processes. 

Location

  • Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location. 
  • Although the position can be fully remote there might be some casual traveling as needed. 

 Responsibilities:

    • 1. Strategic Financial and Job Costing Solution Deployment: 

    • Architect and implement JD Edwards financial and job cost solutions in accordance with organizational strategic directives. 

    • Translate intricate business requirements into JD Edwards configurations, especially emphasizing optimized financial and job costing operations. 

    • 2. Project Leadership: 

    • Pilot JD Edwards financial and job cost projects, ensuring meticulous alignment to project scopes, timelines, and budgets. 

    • Seamlessly navigates project complexities, ensuring open communication lines among stakeholders and guaranteeing project success. 

    • 3. Technical Support and Continuous Advancement: 

    • Provide unparalleled functional and business process assistance for JD Edwards financial and job cost modules, ensuring stable and efficient performance. 

    • Detect and advise on optimization opportunities, particularly in the financials and job cost domains, and champion a continuous improvement philosophy. 

    • 4. Mentorship and Team Leadership: 

    • Mentor junior consultants and lead implementation teams towards successful project completions. 

    • Shepherd teams through multifaceted project stages, ensuring accuracy and diligence.

    • 5. Integration and System Upgrades: 

    • Oversee the intricate integration of JD Edwards with other financial and job costing systems. 

    • Spearhead system upgrades ensuring they align with ongoing and future business needs. 

    • JD Edwards Module Expertise and Experience Required: 

    • General Ledger:  

    • Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on implementation experience. 

    • Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting, ledger consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, budgeting, intercompany settlements, and fiscal period oversight. 

    • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable:  

    • Experience: At least 7 years in implementing and managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules. 

    • Skills: In-depth expertise in managing payables, receivables, and intricate cash flow processes 

    • Fixed Assets:  

    • Experience: At least 7 years with JD Edwards Fixed Assets implementations. 

    • Skills: Mastery in tracking asset life cycles, calculating depreciation, and monitoring asset movements. 

    • Job Cost:  

    • Experience: Minimum 7 years specializing in JD Edwards Job Cost module implementations. 

    • Skills:  

    • In-depth understanding of job costing methodologies, including WIP tracking, variance analysis, and project cost allocations. 

    • Proficiency in forecasting job costs, monitoring ongoing project expenses, and closing out job costs efficiently. 

    • Expertise in integrating job cost data with other financial modules for accurate financial reporting and analysis. 

    • Ability to tailor job cost setups for different project types, ensuring flexible and accurate costing. 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. A Master’s degree is desirable. 

    • Experience: At least 10 years in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with a pronounced focus on financial and job cost modules. 

    • Skills and Abilities: 

    • Functional Mastery: In-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise in JD Edwards Financials and Job Cost modules. 

    • Analytical Skills: Expertise in extracting actionable insights from complex financial and job costing data. 

    • Communication Excellence: Adeptness in conveying intricate concepts to a diversified audience. 

    • Certifications: 

      - Certifications specific to JD Edwards, with emphasis on financials and job cost, will be given priority.
