Growing corporation seeks HR Manager to join their team. This role is 100% on site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Create and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Enforce employee policies and procedures.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Managing employee relations.
  • Responsible for running payroll semimonthly and creating reports.
  • Serve as ADP Workforce administrator.
  • Responsible for benefits renewal and evaluation.
  • Responsible for benefits administration for the employee base.
  • Help employees understand benefits, policies, and any questions they may have.
  • Oversees and handles employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations in accordance with company policy.
  • Engage internally in the recruiting process.
  • Manage employee training requirements.
  • Manage the employee education committee.
  • Manage the annual review process.
  • Train executives on the review process and assist as necessary.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Coordinate and monitor corporate events and meetings.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of human resources experience is required.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience with ADP HR system required.
  • Expert in de-escalation
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • Excellent active listening and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
