Role: Business Development Manager OEM sales
Client: TATA ELXSI
Location: Detroit, MI

Salary: 150K/ annum

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • A self-motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented individual who communicates well with others at all levels, from engineers to C-level executives, and is experienced in developing customers, shaping up deals, thought leader, streamlining operations, and exceeding company revenue goals consistently.
  • The candidate would be primarily playing a hunter role, responsible for securing new clients for Tata Elxsi, carrying out business development activities selling Tata Elxsi's entire portfolio of Engineering services, Consulting, Solutions, and Platform Services to Automotive Tier 1/Off-highway/ Commercial Vehicle companies in North American Market.
  • Educational background Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering preferred. Other branches are fine if the candidate can understand and gather the requirements.
  • Must have sales experience of 7 10 years
  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting
  • Strong communication and relationship-building with clients
  • Should have the capability to handle large accounts
  • Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency
  • Preferred location - Detroit
  • Open to travel
  • Reporting directly to Sr. Director of Sales
  • Strong experience in hunting, leading deal pursuits, contract / commercial negotiation, and closing deals. Well aware-of the entire sales process from lead generation, funnel qualification, deal closure, and collection.
