**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant/Allergy Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians in providing care for patients with allergies, conduct allergy testing, administer allergy shots, and maintain accurate patient records.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Conduct allergy skin tests and other diagnostic assessments under the supervision of a physician.
2. Administer allergy injections and ensure patients' understanding of treatment plans.
3. Educate patients on allergy management, medication administration, and follow-up care.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
5. Record patient information accurately in electronic health records.
6. Assist physicians with procedures and treatments as needed.
7. Adhere to infection control standards and protocols.
8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
**Qualifications:**
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
2. Certification as a Medical Assistant highly desirable.
3. Previous experience in a medical setting, particularly with allergy testing and treatment, is a plus.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
6. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
7. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
8. CPR certification may be required.
