Parman Energy is looking for a new Fleet & Safety Coordinator to join our team The Fleet & Safety Coordinator is an administrative position that  facilitates safety training with the Fleet Safety & Maintenance Director as well as observes and evaluates staff in making sure they are adhering to company SOP, EPA, MSHA, DOT regulations, and all safety practices. Minimum of 25% travel to other facilities as required. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide administrative support to Fleet & Safety Maintenance Director
  • Trains drivers on how to conduct daily reporting including vehicle inspection reports, hours of service reports, incident reports, and any other required documentation
  • Maintains all records of MSHA, EPA, DOT, OSHA and USCG requirement tracking
  • Tracks, compiles, and reports required Federal, State, and Internal documentation.
  • Conducts regular facility inspections to include evaluation of safe work behaviors of all personnel
  • Demonstrates, promotes, and facilitates a safe environment always
  • Provides direction, guidance, and training, and establishes schedules for location managers, following consistent training procedures
  • Leading classroom training for new hire safety training
  • Ability to comprehend and follow all company policies and procedures
  • Minimum of 25% travel to other facilities to conduct new hire safety training

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least two years related experience and/or training
  • 2 years minimum safety experience is preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and presentation/public speaking skills are required
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office is required
