Job Description:
As an Unreal Engine Audio Programmer, you will be a key player in designing and implementing the audio experience in our gaming and film projects. Your role involves harnessing the capabilities of Unreal Engine to create immersive, dynamic, and high-quality soundscapes that enhance the narrative and interactive elements of our virtual worlds. Working closely with sound designers, developers, and artists, you will ensure the audio is not only aesthetically pleasing but also technically optimized and integrated seamlessly within our projects.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audio Programming: Develop and implement advanced audio systems within Unreal Engine, including sound effects, music integration, and audio triggers.
  • AI Integration: Leverage www.evertide.ai's AI tools to enhance audio quality and innovation, such as using Text to Speech for dynamic dialogue.
  • Collaborative Development: Work in tandem with the sound design team to ensure audio aligns with the artistic vision and technical requirements of the project.
  • Innovation in Audio Technology: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in audio programming, continuously seeking ways to improve the audio experience in our projects.
  • Optimization: Ensure audio systems are optimized for performance across various platforms and configurations.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in audio programming, particularly within Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine's audio engine and middleware solutions.
  • Experience with Evertide.ai's suite of AI tools, especially in audio applications.
  • A creative approach to sound design and a keen ear for detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
