Job Description:

As a Senior Unreal Engine Programmer, you will be a leading figure in our development team, responsible for driving the technical aspects of our gaming and film projects. Your extensive experience with Unreal Engine will be pivotal in developing advanced game mechanics, enhancing visual fidelity, and ensuring optimal performance. You will mentor junior programmers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to strategic planning and execution of complex projects.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Programming: Develop and optimize core game systems, graphics rendering, and AI algorithms using Unreal Engine
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior programmers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving
  • AI Integration: Implement innovative solutions using www.evertide.ai's AI tools, enhancing gameplay and interactivity
  • Technical Strategy: Contribute to the overall technical strategy of projects, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards and practices
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with designers, artists, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and high-quality product

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in game programming, specifically with Unreal Engine
  • Profound knowledge of C++, Unreal Engine's Blueprints, and graphics rendering
  • Prior experience in leading development teams and mentoring junior staff
  • Strong background in AI and its application in game development
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field
