Job Description:
As an Unreal Engine Level Designer, you will be instrumental in shaping the landscapes of our gaming and film projects. Your role involves designing, building, and refining levels using Unreal Engine, ensuring that they are not only visually impressive but also offer engaging and coherent gameplay experiences. You will work closely with both the creative and technical teams to ensure that the level designs align with our overall vision and narrative objectives.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Level Design and Development: Craft detailed and engaging levels using Unreal Engine, focusing on layout, aesthetics, and gameplay mechanics.
  • AI Integration: Incorporate Evertide.ai's AI tools to add depth and interactivity to the levels, enhancing the overall player experience.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work alongside artists, programmers, and other designers to ensure a cohesive and immersive game environment.
  • Feedback Implementation: Test levels, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to achieve the desired balance and player engagement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Utilize Unreal Engine's tools efficiently for level optimization, ensuring high performance across different platforms.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in level design, particularly with Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in level design, with a preference for experience in Evertide.ai's suite.
  • A keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and a strong understanding of gameplay mechanics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
