Position: Human Resources Onboarding Generalist

Location: Union, NJ

Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Reporting to: Controller

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Lincoln Electric is seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Onboarding Generalist to join our dynamic team. This position offers an immediate opportunity for growth within our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate HR onboarding processes through HRIS platform, timeclock hardware and mobile app.
  • Updating and maintaining employees’ records.
  • Could handle garnishments and related paperwork
  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Coordinate union enrollment processes, including the 45-day enrollment period.
  • Conduct new hire orientations for both union and office staff.
  • Administer employee benefits enrollment, including Cigna, Guardian, Ascensus, and Unum.
  • Perform cost analysis of employee benefits.
  • Facilitate office open enrollment orientations covering 401(k), health benefits, and life insurance.
  • Manage key fob and parking tag distribution.
  • Assist with Labor and Union Relations.
  • Assist with new hire enrollment processes for Greystone, ensuring proper email and computer setup and updating office and factory email addresses in the group email.
  • Provide support to accounting and the Controller as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources roles.
  • Knowledge of Labor and Union Relations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of E-Verify and Employment documentation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus.
