Job DescriptionJob Description

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Integration Analyst (Systems Integration Analyst) within the Office of Transportation Technology Services (OTTS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting the integration of IT systems and applications within our organization. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate existing IT infrastructure across all modal divisions and identify integration needs.
Develop and plan comprehensive integration strategies.
Design integration solutions and create architectural documentation.
Plan and execute the deployment of integrated systems, develop interfaces for system connectivity, provide support during implementation.
Coordinate with stakeholders with clear communication, including all modal IT SEMs, management, OTTS leadership, and others involved. Manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
Conduct integration testing and resolve technical issues.
Ensure systems meet security standards and compliance requirements.
Train users and IT staff, and document procedures.
Evaluate project success, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud services.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and middleware technologies.
Proven experience in system integration and IT infrastructure evaluation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field.
Relevant certifications in system integration, project management, or IT security.
Experience working in a government or public sector environment.
