Because of this, we are searching for a dedicated and hungry Business Development Trainee to work our customer base and close the sales cycle on new and existing product inquiries. Our next Business Development Trainee must be hungry, driven, and dedicated to learning the ropes at an entry-level and growing within our team. Business Development Trainee Daily Responsibilities:

  • Communicate product features and benefits directly to inquiring customers throughout the sales process
  • Learn to analyze our targeted customers by utilizing specific territory and demographic research
  • Seek out new sales opportunities and employ the benefit of cross-selling approved products
  • Be a skilled expert at market and territory research, connecting with our targeted audiences, increasing quality engagements, and brand profitability
  • Dedication to achieving high closing sales rates through overturning objections and utilizing negotiation tactics
  • Work with other Business Development Trainees and the Business Development Manager to ensure all goals for our clients are met
 

Skills Needed For Success As Our Business Development Trainee:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field is required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Business Development, Account Management, Sales, and/or Management position is highly desired
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Tenacity, grit, and a dedication to professionalism
  • A student mentality and the drive to succeed and gain new skill sets
  • Approachable and a positive, empathetic demeanor
