Based in Philadelphia, Method is a vertically integrated real estate management, development and design company rooted in hospitality projects around the country. Method owns and operates multiple hospitality businesses such as ROOST Apartment Hotel, Whyle Fully Furnished Short-Term Apartments, Wm. Mulherin's Sons Restaurant and Hotel, and HIROKI Omakase Restaurant.

We are looking for an A/P Manager to join our team.
Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor accounts, and ensuring timely payments. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description
- Responsible for the overall accounts payable process for company
- Directs the process of invoice entry, payment process and cash disbursement
- Maintains oversight of handling and coding of invoices to maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts.
- Assists with performing monthly bank reconciliation
- Prepare and process payroll and deductions schedules
- Works directly with key members of the accounting & finance department performing related duties as assigned.
- Review open invoice reports and follows up with a schedule of payments or adjustments
- Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner
- Perform other related duties as directed or as the situation dictates.
Criteria
- 1-3 years of accounts payable experience or experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Ability to optimally present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
