Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain optimal levels of automotive parts inventory to meet customer demands and dealership requirements.
Supervision: Lead and manage a team of parts department staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries, fulfilling orders accurately, and resolving any issues related to parts sales.
Sales and Marketing: Develop strategies to increase parts sales and profitability through effective pricing, promotions, and upselling techniques.
Financial Management: Monitor departmental budgets, expenses, and profitability. Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions regarding pricing and inventory levels.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, manufacturer guidelines, and industry regulations related to parts sales and operations.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar role within the automotive industry, preferably with Kia or other major automotive brands.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts and accessories, including their functions and applications.
Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve departmental goals.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in automotive parts inventory management systems and MS Office Suite.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or degree in Business Administration or Automotive Technology is a plus.
