Position Overview: Classic Auto Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role that requires a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Experience Required: Candidates must possess at least one year of recent experience in an automotive parts department, with a preference for those familiar with BMW and/or MINI parts. Experience in a dealership setting is highly valued, but candidates with parts store experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in identifying and selecting necessary parts, suggesting complementary items, and promoting current specials.
  • Retrieve purchased parts from inventory.
  • In cases of unavailability, assess stock levels and submit emergency orders as needed.
  • Handle phone inquiries, providing pricing information and additional details.
  • Support outside sales representatives with their orders.
  • Organize orders for daily shipment, delivery, or customer pickup.
  • Regularly verify 'will call' and 'back-order' files, returning unnecessary items to vendors or restocking them.

Working Conditions: This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 75 pounds from the ground. The position involves frequent movement throughout the parts inventory, including reaching and climbing to access parts. Employees should expect to stand for six to eight hours during their shifts and may encounter noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and other materials while delivering parts.
