Division: Low Voltage, Middle TN

Position: Project Manager

We are currently looking for an outgoing and energetic individual to manage and maintain our Fire Alarm and Low Voltage projects being installed in the Middle TN area. This individual will be responsible for working with Contractors and Customers. The individual must be detail oriented with the ability to review and understand low voltage prints and submittals. Applicant must be able to travel and meet face to face with electrical contractors and corporate customers in the Middle TN area.

Responsibilities:     

  • Attend a kick off meeting with the sales representative and Operations Manager
  • Verify that job folder contains router, specifications, bid set of drawings, take off, addendums, sales reps notes
  • Review all job folder documentation
  • Turn project information into Service Sales Rep for Maintenance and Monitoring contract
  • Complete and submit necessary permits (fire alarm, low voltage)
  • Make sure copies of submitted permits are in the job folder
  • Give Operations Manager the approved permit from the AHJ for final inspection
  • Coordinate project dates and status with the customer
  • Create a Schedule of Values for the project billing
  • Notify Operations Manager of projected dates for labor and material needs
  • Meet with EC Supervisor once they are onsite to introduce yourself, give contact information, and to verify dates of project
  • If SSI is installing cable and devices meet onsite with installation team to review the scope of work and drawings.
  • Attend monthly timeline meeting (make sure project information is accurate and up to date for project)
  •  Notify Sales Representative of any project changes for change orders
  • Submit monthly billing
  • Schedule and notify Jay of necessary inspections (fire alarm, low voltage)
  • Complete the Operation and Maintenance Manuals and As Built Drawings
  • After inspection is complete, obtain the Record of Completion, and Letter of Certification from Operations Manager and put in Job Folder
  • Complete the Service Hand Off form and submit to Admin for job costing
