Join Our National Team as the Director of Vendor Partnerships


Are you a seasoned vendor or procurement leader with franchise or construction industry experience? Are you looking to leverage your expertise to grow a role that offers varied and challenging work? Our company, a leading parent organization that owns and operates 300+ franchise locations across North America, is seeking a Director of Vendor Partnerships.


In this role, you will lead the acquisition and negotiation of national contracts and programs with both large and small vendor partners who supply our national franchise network. You will also collaborate face to face with stakeholders and key vendor partners at district meetings and annual conferences. Beyond supporting our network's profitability, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and expand this role, making it even more impactful.

Position: Director of Vendor Partnerships
Reports to: SVP of Training and Launch
Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the full lifecycle of vendor management, including vendor partner acquisition, negotiation, contract maintenance, performance management, rebate opportunities and program awareness.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, identifying and partnering with profitable suppliers.
  • Champion and maintain vendor partnerships to foster longstanding relationships.
  • Lead and mentor the Vendor Partnership team, driving network adoption of vendor programs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clear vendor specifications and expectations.
  • Track and report key metrics, and analyze data to anticipate market changes, preparing mitigation strategies.
  • Promote long-term savings on procurement costs through spending monitoring and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Educate and communicate with Franchise Offices and the internal team on vendor opportunities and increase awareness at district meetings and conferences.
  • Support teams during catastrophic (CAT) events for successful mobilization through vendor partnerships.
  • Work closely with new owners to educate them on available vendor resources.
  • Host annual meetings with key vendor partners to review the business status.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Management/Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Proven track record as a Vendor or Procurement Manager, preferably in a franchise environment
  • Strong dexterity in reading the market as well as hands-on experience in sourcing, procurement, negotiation and contract administration.
  • Previous experience presenting to large and small audiences across the organization, and preparing and hosting large events, including partner sponsorship oversight.
  • Excellent collaboration, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, etc.). CVENT experience a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed in the US and Canada to meet organization objectives.
