Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff.


We are currently seeking a full-time Business Outreach Coordinator to manage staff providing job development and business engagement activities. To manage staff providing job development, facilitator, and business engagement activities. Market and coordinator father program within the community and with employers. To develop relationships with employers in the community. Facilitate fatherhood groups in the areas of nurturing or parenting classes, job seeking skills, resume preparations, attitudinal/motivational techniques towards employment. The person in this position works with community agencies and or employers. Works with clients with multi-barriers to employment. Some evening and weekend work possible.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides programmatic direction to staff assigned to the NetWORK FIRE programs. Assures the organization’s administrative philosophy, mission, and vision is carried out.
  • Implements a well-defined staff development program for fatherhood staff. Assures the availability of in-house resource materials. Provides individual and group in-service and training sessions as needed to improve staff professional competencies.
  • Develops relationships with various businesses in the community to assess their current and future workforce needs. Markets the NetWORK program and placement participants by educating community employers regarding the program concepts and advantages by providing dynamic and innovative public relations
  • Coordinates events within the fatherhood program and or community
  • May conduct job search and employer expectation trainings; instruct clients in appropriate interview behaviors and employer expectations; assist in job search and resume development.
  • Assists/trains staff in different phases of the fatherhood grant.
  • Represents NetWORK at various meetings and activities in the business sector and community partners.
  • Monitors utilization of programs and develops strategies to assure optimal utilization. Assures utilization is consistent with staffing and budget. Recommends adjustments and approaches referral sources when indicated as actual projected utilization figures change.
  • Annually develops recommendation to meet program, staff, and budgetary needs. Develops or assists in the development of new programs or program components. Assures programmatic and all related expenditures follow established priorities and remain within the constraints of the budget.
  • Develops, monitors, implements a marketing program which enhances an effective working relationship with community employers which assures employment opportunities are enhanced for the clients.
  • Carries out policies and procedures of the agency; participates in staff development, may participate in community work, agency wide projects and performs other relate duties as requested or applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Specific/Individual Competencies:

  • Expressive/receptive language skills, abilities to work with the public, high professional demeanor, ability to instruct, competent in counseling/clinical skills and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Bridges out of Poverty concepts.
  • Facilitator for Nurturing fathers' curriculum.
  • Presents a professional approach to all functions and relationships with all levels of staff, clients, other agencies, and the public.
  • Abides by the agency’s and/or professional code of ethics.
  • Strives to continuously improve own and agency operations.
  • Incorporates CQI techniques into daily work activities.
  • Participates on CQI process teams and/or supports CQI initiatives.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus two years’ experience in one of the following: workforce development, job development, marketing, public safety, sales, and/or management work experience or six years of experience workforce development, job development, marketing, public safety, sales, and/or management work experience.
  • Preference given to individuals with experience working in a workforce development or vocational rehabilitation agency. Also, individuals with recognized mental health certification such as CDCA, Peer I, Certified Facilitator Nurturing Fathers, Behavioral Health Service AID or other mental health certifications. Supervisory/management experience preferred or strong evidence of increasing job responsibility
