Your Role

We are seeking a driven and skilled Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Technical Project Manager will play a key role in the planning, coordinating, and leading of cross-functional project teams to ensure the delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical project management, exceptional leadership skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech industries. Additional experience with injection plastics is a plus.

  • Facilitate the development of high-level strategies for execution with the team and drive project completion.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Track project schedules, timelines, and budget, and develop mitigation plans to resolve any project delays. Proactively identify any resolve potential risks.
  • Lead project teams to execute projects according to plan, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Provide clear direction and guidance to cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Identify resource needs and allocate resources appropriately to meet project goals.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurately recorded
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and provide timely and accurate updates as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, resolving technical issues and ensuring the quality of project deliverables.
  • Ensure global project management standards are developed and adhered to. Maintain project management best practices globally.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related technical field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the life sciences industry
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to take ownership and ensure critical execution for deliverables.
  • Ability to facilitate productive team meetings with effective communication ensuring execution plans and documentation requirements are met.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Strong knowledge of spending tracking with the ability to estimate monthly spending across the full duration of the project(s).
  • Ability to define project goals, create a comprehensive project plan, setting realistic timelines, manage budgets, and identify and mitigate risks.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and make informed decisions that align with project goals.
  • Adaptable and flexible, capable of adjusting plans and strategies in response to evolving requirements, priorities, or constraints.
  • Strong attention to detail ensuring that deliverables meet specifications and adhere to quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of software applications including Microsoft Suite, PowerBI, etc.
  • Plastics engineering background or understanding is a plus.

Adhering to the requirements of California's law on salary transparency, the salary bracket for this role is set between $130,000 and $150,000 annually. The offered salary may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
