Job Overview

Scope Technical LLC is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in a project management role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of commercial and residential on-site development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal team members and external client personnel to ensure successful project execution.
  • Attend client meetings, planning commission meetings, and city council meetings to represent the company and provide technical expertise.
  • Lead projects from start to finish, acting as the project engineer and ensuring timely completion.
  • Utilize Civil 3D to design and develop commercial and residential on-site development projects, including site grading and design.
  • Perform field assessments of existing infrastructure and construction observation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist with shop drawing review and prepare technical reports, such as storm reports and SWPPPs.
  • Support permit applications and prioritize project deadlines to ensure timely completion.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, preferably in a project management role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to develop GIS, CAD, and data management skills to support project execution.
  • Basic knowledge of civil engineering concepts and principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and math skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
