Technical Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the implementation of our Procurement Intake tool. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in project management, technical acumen, and a passion for process improvement. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project, including meetings, action items, documentation, change management, and communication. The successful candidate will ensure the seamless execution of the project, resulting in a fully operational and efficient Procurement Intake tool.Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination:
    • Oversee the end-to-end implementation of the Procurement Intake tool, ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones.
    • Coordinate all project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task assignments.
    • Manage G-drive and Slack channels for project communication and document storage, ensuring all team members have access to necessary resources.
  • Meeting and Action Item Management:
    • Schedule, organize, and facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
    • Track and manage action items, ensuring follow-up and resolution in a timely manner.
    • Provide clear and concise weekly updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Prepare comprehensive training documentation for end-users and project stakeholders.
    • Document workflows, processes, and procedures related to the Procurement Intake tool.
    • Update and maintain knowledge base resources to reflect current processes and tool usage.
  • Change Management and Communication:
    • Develop and execute a change management strategy to support the adoption of the Procurement Intake tool.
    • Prepare and distribute communications to stakeholders and end-users, ensuring they are informed of project developments, changes, and timelines.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor project outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
    • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and align with the organization's objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably with experience in procurement or enterprise software implementation.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience in change management, training, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with G-suite, Slack, and other collaboration tools.
Hourly Pay Rate: $70-$84/DOE
