The Payroll Specialist is responsible for performing duties related to payroll operations, including running time management reports, data entry, reconciling timecards, supporting computerized payroll preparation, and maintaining payroll records. Works closely with Human Resources department on leaves, terminations, and confirming data entry accuracy.
Under the direction of the Controller and working closely with Human Resources and Accounting departments to confirm data entry accuracy, allocation of cost and general ledger reconciliations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or foreign equivalent.
- At least two (2) years or more of computerized payroll processing experience
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and payroll taxes.
- Knowledge of payroll input/ processing, reports, reconciliation, taxes and benefits.
- Knowledge and experience with ADP payroll software
- Ability to learn complex procedures
- Prioritize and meet deadlines
- Organization and planning skills.
- Payroll Certification preferred.
- After training, this position is eligible for a Hybrid schedule
