Job SummaryThe Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll for all employees of the company. This includes calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, and issuing paychecks.
Key Responsibilities- Verify hours submitted for each employee
- Calculate wages, deductions, and taxes for all employees
- Maintain payroll records
- Provide payroll tax reports and payment calculations
- Respond to employee questions and inquiries about payroll
- Consistently communicate with department managers/supervisors
- High school diploma required
- 5 years of recent experience in payroll processing
- Proficiency in Paylocity software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
