Compensation:

$40,000 yearly + bonus

Responsibilities:
  • Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service
  • Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator
  • Assist with administrative duties such as making and screening calls, booking appointments, etc.
  • Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
  • Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned mortgage loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items
  • Contact new leads to take mortgage applications.
  • Verify income and other required documentation.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, providing a positive experience.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure a smooth loan process from start to finish.


Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients
  • At least 5+ years of professional office environment required, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant
  • Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
  • NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired
  • Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
  • Excellent phone skills with a friendly and approachable personality.
  • A passion for helping people and making a difference in their lives.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
