Job DescriptionJob Description

The Program Operations Specialist is responsible for reviewing the agency’s menu of program plans (e.g., classes, summer camp, special events, etc.), organizing program content, and preparing the CRM database for upcoming programming cycles. Additionally, this position manages the integrated website functionality of the CRM system. The Specialist works collaboratively with JCC Program staff and Marketing/Communications staff to ensure that all programs and services maximize engagement and align with the values and operational priorities of the agency. The successful candidate is well-organized, analytical, results-driven, a self-starter, and a team player.

All employees of the Springfield JCC are responsible for creating relationships with the members, to add value to their membership, and to enhance their sense of belonging with the JCC community.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities

CRM Program Operations

Website Management

Work cross-departmentally on new systems, processes, and procedures to enhance communications and operational efficiency

Assist Marketing/Communications department with clearly-defined project needs (e.g., publication assistance, template creation, text editing), as schedule allows

Work on other agency projects, as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of CRM software functionality and website management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva)
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of work experience in nonprofit or membership-driven organization
  • Have CRM expertise in producing database queries, running reports, and monitoring dashboards
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Skill in verbal and written communication with the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with a wide range of technical skills
  • Knowledge of applicable hardware, software, and peripheral equipment relevant to assignments
  • Sound organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, manage time, problem solve, and be detail oriented with thorough follow-through
  • Knowledge of project management principles, processes, and techniques
  • First-rate attention to detail and accountability to deadlines
  • Skill in examining operations and processes, formulating recommendations, and implementing new systems and procedur
