Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBusiness Analyst: Workday Recruitment & Onboarding Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)Employment Type: Temporary, 6 months contract roleWe are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with project experience in Workday Recruitment & Onboarding for a temporary hybrid role. The position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site requirements. Ideal candidates will also have experience in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM). A Workday HCM or Workday EM/PM Certification is preferred.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for organizational change initiatives by defining needs, recommending solutions, and managing project activities.
  • Oversee project elements such as business case development, requirements gathering, analysis, communication, testing, and training.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of strategic and support plans.
  • Lead request for proposal (RFP) activities, including the delivery of functional requirements, vendor scorecards, criteria, and scoring results.
  • Manage the collection and delivery of requirements, business/use cases, documentation, and test plans.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by creating process flow charts, value stream mapping, and related documentation.
  • Develop and implement measurement activities to report on project effectiveness, return on investment (ROI), and other success metrics.
  • Assist in project documentation management as required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to enhance project and program delivery.
  • Promote and educate stakeholders on methodologies and processes across the institute.
  • Engage in continuous learning and training in business analysis, project management, and stakeholder activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) guidelines.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) guidelines.
  • Understanding of change management principles.
  • Familiarity with healthcare/research operations and systems.
  • Proficiency in risk management principles.
  • Advanced business analysis techniques and principles.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and influence tasks beyond direct control.
Education & Experience:
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of business analysis experience.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree in Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
    • Seven (7) years of business analysis experience with increasing responsibilities in medium-to-large complex projects.
    • Three (3) years of project management experience in small-to-medium initiatives.
    • Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare, research, or academic environment.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) or Black Belt (CSSBB)
