Business Systems Analyst Overview:

IntePros is in search of a meticulous and proficient Business Systems Analyst to become a vital member of our innovative team. The selected individual will collaborate closely with business units, project leaders, and external consultants to capture business workflows, formulate specifications, and oversee requirements throughout the project lifecycle. This role is essential for enhancing operational efficiency, quality assurance, and ensuring effective integration and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Specification Development: Craft and refine specifications based on requests from business units, ensuring they are clear and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Business Workflow Documentation: Partner with project leaders and consultants to meticulously document business workflows, maintaining comprehensive and current records.
  • Resource Management: Ensure that essential resources such as documentation, policy guides, and reference materials are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Functional Requirement Formulation: Develop and articulate functional system requirements aimed at improving operational performance, quality, and external integrations.
  • Requirement Evaluation: Assess derived requirements to confirm they align with stakeholder expectations, providing thorough feedback and necessary modifications.
  • Specification Structuring: Structure the specifications of requirements using standardized templates, encompassing both use cases and detailed software necessities.
  • Requirement Oversight: Effectively manage requirements, ensuring they are stored in automated systems and are easily traceable throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Traceability Management: Oversee the traceability of requirements, documenting the status of requirements as the project progresses.
  • Change Management Monitoring: Supervise changes in baseline requirements, implementing change management processes and tools to handle adjustments proficiently.
  • Data Analysis and Insight Development: Analyze data to extract insights that contribute to future strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst role, ideally within an IT or software development context.

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in requirements management tools and software.
  • Ability to document and structure specifications using standardized templates.
  • Experience with change management processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and the capacity to derive insights from data.
  • Understanding of business workflow documentation and functional system requirements formulation.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
