Seat Guests: Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and manage the seating chart efficiently. Manage Reservations: Handle reservations over the phone and in person, ensuring accurate tracking of table availability and wait times. Answer Phones: Respond to incoming calls, provide information about the restaurant, answer questions, and take reservations. Coordinate with Staff: Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the entrance, waiting area, and hostess stand clean and organized. Assist with Special Requests: Address special requests from guests and accommodate seating preferences. Promote Specials: Inform guests about daily specials, promotions, and events. Problem-Solve: Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall dining experience. Monitor Waitlist: Manage the waitlist during busy times and provide accurate wait times to guests.
