Job DescriptionJob Description

Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for shipping clerk duties like picking orders, packing, labeling, shipping, receiving, cycle counting and performing other warehouse and shipping duties by following established operating procedures.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Outside processing
    • preparing skids for outside process
    • prestaging and organizing skids based on supplier/driver's route
    • creating paperwork
    • scheduling pick-ups with supplier/in house driver
    • loading and unloading the skids for OP
    • verifying the parts against paperwork and checking for missing paperwork
    • receiving, labeling and moving material to next operation station
    • scanning paperwork into the system
  • Communicating with vendors or suppliers
  • Creating driver's daily schedule (pickups and drop offs)
  • Assisting the Logistics Coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack, a gas or electric powered forklift to load, unload, move or stack products.
  • Safety requirements knowledge and use of safety glasses, shoes and gloves as necessary.
  • Basic math skills to count, add, subtract, multiply and basic use of calculators.
  • Must be able to work under different weather conditions and fast pace environment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to interact and work well with others.
