Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding reservations, menu options, and special events.
- Accurately book reservations and manage the reservation system to optimize table assignments and ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Follow up on reservation requests via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Provide detailed information about Maü Miami’s offerings, including menu items, pricing, and special promotions.
- Upsell special packages, events, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, special requests, and any changes to reservations.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and coordination regarding guest arrivals and special requests.
- Handle guest complaints and issues with professionalism, seeking to resolve them to the guest’s satisfaction.
- Stay informed about restaurant policies, special events, and menu changes to provide accurate information to guests.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to reservations and guest services as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Reservations Sales Agent, Customer Service Representative, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong sales and customer service skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using reservation systems and other computer software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or sales is a plus.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a reservations or customer service role.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
