Duties and Responsibilities:

This full-time position requires a multi-tasking individual to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of commitment to safety and attention to detail. The role will involve day-to-day review and entry of batch records along with general administrative and production support to MPP Operations.

  • Responsibilities include the coordination, review, and auditing of the inventory control process for the MPP
  • Investigate, document, and correct inventory transactions that result in improperly stated inventory balances
  • Identify inventory items that need to be re-counted
  • Provide training to others
  • Update inventory records based on physical counts
  • Manage end-of-campaign inventory count and reconciliation activities
  • Efficiently communicate with internal customers regarding end-of-campaign inventory completion
  • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of computer software (Datacor) as it relates to all transactions that effect inventory balances
  • Review batch records for completeness & accuracy.
  • Complete batch receipts in ERP (Datacor)
  • Maintain batch formulas, setup new raw materials and finished goods products
  • Provide pick tickets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to production for each scheduled batch
  • Keep daily records of bulk tank levels and adjust inventory as necessary
  • Assist shipping leader in managing inventory in external warehouse
  • Complete month end SOX responsibilities for inventory
  • Train and assist manufacturing, shipping, receiving and sales on inquiries regarding inventory balances
  • Observe and respect the confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Support organizational goals and objectives


Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year college degree in business and/or equivalent work experience in inventory control
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience for a manufacturing organization in inventory control
  • Position requires good PC skills, Excel experience is a must
  • Successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Position requires good time management skills and the ability to organize workload to meet customer and internal deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
