Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager will oversee and manage the HR functions at New Day Personal Care Services. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the company's goals. The HR Manager will lead recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and training initiatives, ensuring a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Strategy:
  - Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  - Lead the HR team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  - Serve as a strategic partner to senior management, advising on HR-related matters.

- Recruitment and Onboarding:
  - Develop and oversee recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  - Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job postings to candidate selection.
  - Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding process for new hires.

- Employee Relations:
  - Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective employee engagement initiatives.
  - Address and resolve employee relations issues, providing support and mediation as needed.
  - Promote open communication and a strong organizational culture.

- Performance Management:
  - Develop and implement performance management systems and processes.
  - Guide managers in conducting performance evaluations and setting employee goals.
  - Provide coaching and support to employees and managers to enhance performance and development.

- Compliance and Policy Administration:
  - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  - Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  - Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.

- Training and Development:
  - Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  - Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

- Compensation and Benefits:
  - Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  - Conduct salary benchmarking and ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.

This position includes additional tasks needed to fully and legally support the organizations' HR department.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, preferably in the healthcare or home care industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
