Education: Master’s degree required in social work, counseling, family therapy, or closely related field.
Licensure: Licensed as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT required.
Experience: Experience working with adults and families in need of mental health services, trauma services, grief counseling, family systems therapy approaches and evidence based care. Expertise with public speaking, providing and developing clinical trainings required. Should have excellent writing skills, grant writing experience a plus.

Job Duties:
- Promotes clinician engagement to the agency through collaborative contact, support and learning opportunities.
- Develops written, video, digital supportive materials for staff learning, promotion of clinical guidelines, and job aids. Materials are to be developed in a manner that promotes the expertise of our clinical staff within the agency and beyond.
- Provides live 1:1 training experiences, live group training experiences, video-conferencing training experiences, and develops training experiences for our Learning Management System.
- Trains clinical providers in areas that include but are not limited to:
- Suicide prevention treatment methodologies
- Early Childhood development and development appropriate interventions and treatment
- Family therapy protocols and therapeutic approaches
- Substance abuse treatment and effective interventions with youth and families
- Complex trauma assessment and effective treatment
- Complex grief assessment and effective treatment
- Publishes trainings to our Learning Management System, including trainings to requesting to become eligible for Continuing Education Credit.
- Coordinates the clinical training plan for clinical providers.
- Maintains and communications up to date knowledge on any changes to the Licensure requirements and supports registered interns with this knowledge.
- Trains providers of effective family engagement processes and maintains an ongoing tips and tricks document for providers.
- Trains providers in the effective use of tele-health technology for the use with individuals, children, and families; and maintains an ongoing tips and tricks document for providers.
- Trains providers in the effective use of our Electronic Medical Record to ensure clean and accurate workflows that support the therapeutic relationship while maintaining clean and accurate data collection. Participates in developing improved workflows within Electronic Medical Record to support provider needs and work satisfaction.
- Co-chair of the Training Committee & provides report to Quality Improvement Committee
