Position Overview:
The Clinical Training Specialist is responsible for delivering specialized training programs developed by MedAire, as directed by the Education Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates MedAire's training courses to clients, ensuring adherence to educational guidelines.
- Provides instructional support and contributes to the planning and execution of the Education Services Instructor Orientation Program.
- Engages actively in departmental quality initiatives and represents the company at relevant conferences or seminars.
- Measures instructional effectiveness and evaluates student progress through various assessment methods.
- Completes assigned projects in a timely manner and maintains clear communication with supervisors.
- Offers expertise as a subject matter expert when required.
- Assists in the development of medical curricula and coordinates special training events as needed.
- Supports administrative staff with special projects or tasks as assigned.
Confidentiality:
Maintains strict confidentiality of all client information encountered during job performance, in compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Aviation-Focused Instructors: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in flight nursing or as a flight paramedic, or equivalent experience as an RN or EMT-P with knowledge of aviation physiology.
- Maritime-Focused Instructors: Previous experience in critical care or emergency room settings is preferred, along with experience in maritime environments or equivalent training.
- 5 years of experience in adult medical education.
- Current unrestricted RN or EMT-P license.
- Current certification as an American Heart Association BLS Instructor or Heart Saver Instructor.
Travel Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license and passport, and be able to provide proof of adequate insurance coverage. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally by air and reside within proximity to a major airport.
