In this position, you would provide general orientation, Annual Inservice, and ongoing education to all staff.  As a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse, you would also provide clinical support and training to the nursing staff in Healthcare, Assisted Living, and the Clinic.  Position also collaborates with all departments to identify training needs, and then design and coordinate training programs.  At Lakewood, you would be an integral part of a team whose energy, creativity, and talents are valued and rewarded.  We want you to be the best you can be - we can do this together with work/life integration, coaching and opportunities to learn and grow

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice as a Nurse in Virginia (LPN) but RN preferred.
  • Previous work experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility or Continuing Care Retirement Community. 
  • Academic and/or professional experience pertaining to adult education in the workplace.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups.
