About the Opportunity:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Meeting Planner to join our team and support the Director of Meetings & Conferences in planning and executing large conferences and expos.Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Meetings & Conferences to plan and execute all aspects of client conferences and expos.
- Assist with the development and management of the project plan, budget, and timeline.
- Manage specific vendor relationships, including catering, audio/visual services, technology, and other event logistics.
- Assist with speaker relations, including invitations, travel arrangements, and presentation logistics.
- Coordinate the development and execution of marketing and promotional materials for the event.
- Oversee the registration process for attendees and exhibitors, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Manage the event website and mobile app content, working with designers and developers.
- Support the development and execution of the onsite event operations, including logistics, staff management, and ensuring a positive experience for attendees.
- Collect and analyze event data, assist with the preparation of post-event reports, and contribute to recommendations for future improvements.
- Conduct surveys and manage feedback from attendees and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for event management technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in event planning and execution.
- Proven experience in managing logistics, budgets, and deadlines for large-scale events with 1000+ attendees.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Experience with event registration platforms and mobile app development a plus
