Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical construction projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
  • Review and understand mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, material procurement, and site logistics.
  • Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the project manager.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Travel to project sites in the DMV area (up to 30-40% of the role) to assist with on-site management and coordination.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a Construction administrative role.
  • Familiarity with methods, equipment, and tools used in the HVAC service and installation trade.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required; additional education or certifications in construction management or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings and commercial construction projects.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel; experience with industry software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Revue, Revit, and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and manage job deadlines, with strong organizational and time management skills.
