Dynacast operates 21 manufacturing facilities in 16 countries across the globe.

Position Summary

As the Business Development Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising and leading a team of Business Development Specialists. This team focuses on lead generation and sales support for the Dynacast Outside Sales Team. Using initiative, internal drive, and sales acumen, the team generates brand interest, sales opportunities, and customer base prospects from customer lists, industry discovery, and individual research. The successful candidate will be a highly-driven self-starter that demonstrates superb analytical, communication, organization, and time management skills. You will also support the Sales team though identifying, organizing, and analyzing internal and external data.

The position will be onsite at the Dynacast facility in Elgin, IL.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Lead/Supervise team of Business Development Specialists, including managing/monitoring work flow, employee relations, performance management, and other supervisory duties.
  • Work with team to maintain pipeline of sales leads and new account opportunities; other special projects.
  • Partner with the Dynacast outside sales teams and engineering staff on prospective leads, following up and taking the lead as necessary.
  • Manage sales dashboard and maintain database of prospective clients and opportunities.
  • Analysis - leverage data and analytics to drive performance improvements, develop reporting, and present findings to management to make data-driven decisions.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, Power Point, Sales Force, PowerBI, ZoomInfo, LeadGenius, Linked in, Google search and others.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, and Attributes

  • 2+ years supervisory experience, with multiple direct reports.
  • 3+ years of relevant customer service experience, with an emphasis on consistent and timely direct customer contact. Experience in a Business-to-Business environment preferred.
  • Experience with a CRM Systems, specifically reports, dashboards, and analytics. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (Business discipline preferred); equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills.
  • Positive and upbeat personality, ability to utilize a "TEAM" attitude.
  • Self-starter; must be independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Travel to the plants may be requested on occasion.
