Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients by name, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Provide reassurance to nervous patients and commend them for seeking dental care.
  • Educate patients on the clinical benefits of dental treatment and offer information on insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs.
  • Collaborate with third-party financing companies to provide patients with a range of financial options.
  • Assist patients in completing financing applications and educate them on soft and hard credit checks.
  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to help patients afford their dental care.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed by the patient and accurately documented.
  • Hand off paperwork and documentation to the front desk for processing and uploading to the patient's chart.
  • Leave comprehensive clinical notes with information on discussed treatment, financial costs, and prior approvals needed (if necessary) for efficient and effective patient care.
