Tasks:

  • Initiate and develop contact with potential clients and work with principals to secure new clients and projects
  • Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates
  • Maintain a high profile in professional marketing and community organizations
  • Seek business opportunities for firm
  • Research and gather information on potential clients and projects
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging markets, new clients, and other opportunities
  • Schedule meetings with new/existing clients to discover project information
  • Develop and maintain strong business network
  • Participate in client organizations
  • Manage client satisfaction program
  • Work within a short- and long-term pursuit cycle

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-7 years AEC experience recommended
  • Without degree, 6-10 years AEC experience required
  • Thorough understanding of the AEC industry terminology and procedures
  • Professional demeanor that enables the candidate to interact with the highest levels both inside and outside AME
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Drive, hardworking, takes pride in their work
  • Persistent, able to follow through in a consistent manor and document efforts
  • Experience tracking efforts and meeting benchmarks
