Inventory Clerk – Full-Time - Experience Preferred

Mullinax Ford is looking for a personable, hard-working team member who is self-motivated and effectively prioritizes tasks to join our multi-store enterprise. The prime candidate will be able to multi-task accurately in a fast-paced environment while providing top notch customer service. Prior dealership experience preferred but not required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Process all paperwork from retail sales in accordance with Company guidelines in a timely basis
  • Promote positive customer service with external and internal departments
  • Stock in all New-Convoy and Dealer Trades
  • Stock in all Used Inventory-Wholesales and Out right Purchases
  • Cutting Checks to Wholesalers & follow up on title status
  • Processing Trade Packets and following up on aging title status
  • Dealer Trade reimbursements for Drivers
  • Maintaining gas card expenses
  • Maintain schedules and post journal entries
  • Provide back-up accounting support as needed
  • Provide administrative support to management, other departments, and employees as needed
  • Any Other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications for this job:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must have professional appearance
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Understanding of basic accounting
  • Proficiency with computer systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), internet browsers, email functions and ability to learn new software
  • Capability of multi-tasking and prioritizing work in fast-paced environment with heavy volume of transactions as well as be able to meet and handle deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass background screening, motor vehicle check, and drug test
