A locally owned Chevrolet dealership in the DMV for over 68 years seeks a dedicated Sales Consultant to help grow our dealership and provide exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about succeeding in a fast-paced and professional workplace.

If you have retail/sales experience assisting customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise, you have already performed the primary function of a Sales Consultant. Your skills are transferable, and you can excel in this role

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Applicant must pass pre-employment screening
  • Prior automotive sales experience is a plus but not required
  • Being bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot
  • Help customers purchase a vehicle
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective buyers
  • Respond promptly to sales leads and inquiries
  • Engage with prospective buyers to understand their needs and preferences
  • Follow the sales process and deliver vehicles while ensuring customers understand the vehicle's operating features and warranty
  • Utilize CRM and other computer tools effectively
  • Be the vehicle expert
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards
  • Ensure every customer has a premium buying experience
  • Manage a book of business and drive referral-based business
