Job Summary:
The Automotive Parts Manager at a lower Fairfield County import dealer is a key position within our dealership team that oversees all aspects of the parts department. This individual will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of parts specialists and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts and accessories to our service and sales departments. Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the Automotive Parts Manager will play a vital role in maintaining inventory levels, maximizing sales, and providing exceptional customer service to all of our clients.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, base plus commission sales job in the auto industry located in Stamford, Connecticut. The compensation for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 per year and is paid biweekly. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the parts department, including inventory levels, customer service, and sales strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts and accessories
- Coach and mentor a team of parts specialists to maximize productivity, efficiency, and sales goals
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage parts ordering and returns processes
- Collaborate with the service and sales departments to identify and fulfill parts needs for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and sales
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the parts department and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Use sales techniques and customer service skills to promote and sell parts and accessories to clients
- Analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and pricing changes to effectively manage inventory and sales strategies
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as all federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the automotive industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and industry trends
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Proficient in inventory management and utilizing computerized systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
