POSITION SUMMARY:

The Executive Intern is a temporary position that allows college students or recent college graduates, studying business, economics, marketing, communications or computer science to gain valuable business skills that may be applied to their curriculum and to their future career. The intern will work closely with the co-president, members of the executive staff or other departments as required. The primary role is to support the co-president and executive staff in any area where assistance is needed on daily tasks and projects where their abilities are applicable.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assist co-president on strategic projects
  2. Desire and ability to work in a diverse, fast moving, office and manufacturing environment.
  3. Research manufacturing equipment capabilities, potential suppliers, potential customers,
  4. Develop market intelligence including online/retail competitive audits, create reports with findings to be shared with team
  5. Organization of advisory board, executive staff and plant level reports
  6. Assist in development of corporate and departmental goals
  7. Website refreshes including data updates to product spec sheets and assist in creation of new product catalog


Requirements:

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • Minimum 1 years completed towards Bachelor’s Degree or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field. Graphic Design or Web Design experience a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Spanish Language proficiency desired
  • Proficient in MS Office with specific focus in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for communicating within the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule during the summer months, 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)
  • Position is located in-person at the Naperville corporate office
  • Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
