Sr. Mechanical Engineer, PE

We are looking for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer/Designer with at least 5 years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing Design. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial and institutional building mechanical systems, as well as mechanical national codes, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in Revit is essential, and candidates should either hold or be in the process of obtaining PE registration.

Qualifications:

  • A 4-year engineering degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • A positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive project assignments and design requirements from Principals and Associates.
  • Perform detailed design work, including system approach, equipment selection, mechanical room layout, and coordination with clients.
  • Interface directly with clients and end users to understand and document expectations.
  • Lead projects during both design and construction phases.
  • Complete project designs, drawings in 3D Revit and/or 2D CAD, site observations, specifications, calculations, equipment selection, and construction administration as needed.
